Full-Sized Fun in a Miniature Package
Racing pocket bikes is a sport that is very popular in places like space-starved Japan. Racing meets are also found in Europe and elsewhere in the world. The bikes are also known as mini-moto's and the races as Mini GP Racing. Races are typically conducted on a kart track. The miniature motorcycles resemble sport bikes but are only about one-quarter the size.Mini-bikes are about 20 inches high and forty inches long. They usually weigh in at around 50 pounds. This small size means they can be operated by either adults or children. Power for the mini-bikes is usually supplied by a small two-stroke engine of around fifty cubic centimeters in size. The entry-level bikes usually provide from 2.4 to 4.2 hp, with increased horsepower for racing bikes. The high performance minibikes have anywhere from eleven to seventeen horsepower output. In Japan, where the concept of minibikes was first put into practice, the original bikes were much less developed than they are today. The early bikes were simply smaller frames with a small two-cycle motor attached. As the idea of mini motorcycles spread into Europe, the Italian engineering skills came into the picture. They took the idea of mini-bikes and upgraded the technology to produce a racing machine that is optimized for weight, balance and wind stream effectiveness. The speed record has been set at 78 miles per hour in a recent race. Races are typically held on kart tracks.Beginner bikes are available now from China at prices less than $200. At the other end of the range, superbly engineered racing machines sell for as much as $7000. Early racing models cost much more than they do today, because of the costly research and development expenses. The bikes of today reflect precise relationships between braking systems, engine configuration, geometry of the frame and available power.Even a child can pick up one of these mini-motorcycles and put it into a rear seat or cargo compartment of an automobile. The price means that both children and adults can enjoy the fun of operating a racing motorcycle. Children as young as six own and operate the mini-bikes in races. Adults can have the enjoyment of racing without the cost of purchasing and maintaining a full-size motorcycle.Mini-bikes are not legal for street riding in most countries. Even though you don't need a driver's license to operate a mini-bike, they should only be enjoyed in car parks, trails, parking lots or race tracks. They are safer to operate on fairly smooth and clean paved areas.Even though the mini-moto is a small and lightweight machine, riding it takes experience and skill. Safety training is important and safety equipment such as helmets, protective boots and other items are imperative. This is particularly important when young children are riding. Pick your place for riding based upon the skill and experience of the rider and always do a vehicle safety check before riding. If motorcycle riding interests you, pocket bikes may be a good way to include your family in riding. Racing events for mini-bikes are popular in Japan and Europe and are also found in the United States. Races are divided into categories by gender and age group. Three main types of bikes are raced.

Bridgestone Prior to the Czech Moto GP
This makes for challenges in terms of tyres handling the driving. This circuit also causes extreme average speed levels, as much as 166 kmph - a record made by Jorge Lorenzo the previous year. Lorenzo owns a 72 point lead in the 10th round of the previous season. He finished ahead of Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso, Casey Stoner, and finally Valentino Rossi, who missed his previous four races due to injuries.
The Key Word is Cruising Motor GP
Cruisers are a frugal, make that cheap, lot . Keep that in mind when choosing a cruising sailboat since most of your meals will be prepared in board. If the chef is happy you can be happy. If the chef is not happy...the captain won't be either. We had a 3 burner gimbaled stove, propane fueled. The small oven had a big turkey in it every Thanksgiving. We ate great.

Finding The Right Motorcycle Helmet End Motor Gp
Rule number one when buying a motorcycle helmet is never buy a second hand helmet. There a few very good reasons for this. Most importantly you can never be one hundred percent certain of it's history. It may look clean shiny and new but serious structural damage is often not visible to the eye. As you wear your properly fitting helmet it gradually moulds to the shape of your head to ensure a perfect fit for you. A second hand helmet will have moulded to somebody else's head.

Alpinestars Electronic Airbag Technology
The first consumer implementation of airbags into a leather suit was specifically designed for road racers. These airbags are concentrated on the neck and shoulders, which is the most common injury during a road race crash. The airbags are placed inside each shoulder pad with the electronic 'hub' slotted into the neck hump. This tucks it out of view and only adds 500 grams of weight to the suit. This is in comparison to Dainese's similar D-air suit which weighs between 700-750 grams.
Fast Pocket Bikes For The Fastest Road Companions
Fast Pocket Bikes are shaped in form of mini motorcycles and therefore they are those cute little dynamites always ready to set the road on fire. Constructed robustly with aluminum or steel frame, it is so easy to have a go with these darlings on road. However, how much speed the bike will pick up depends upon the form and weight of the person riding the bike.
History of Honda Motorcycle Success
Honda Motor Company was originally set up in the late 1940's by Japanese entrepreneur Soichiro Honda who aimed to produce a cheap method of transport for those after the Second World War. The company found a niche in the production of Motorcycles and release the 'C' model which was considered a success. This led to the production of what was later known as the 'Dream D' model which was an inexpensive bike with three horsepower and two-speed transmission. Honda then continued on his journey to produce a vast array of machines and Honda motorcycle parts which resulted in the eventual trust of the consumer and financial success.

On pole started the Australian chamipionship leading Ducati rider Casey Stoner out to prove that being on pole is not cursed as many fear and the only way he could do that was to win. Randy de Puniet started in 4th place on his Kawasaki, lining up next to him was the American John Hopkins on his Rizla Suzuki and aside him the ever-threatening Valentino Rossi on his Fiat Yamaha. Following these top 6 riders from qualifying was, in order, Loris Capirossi, Alex Barros, Sylvain Guintoli, Shinya Nakano closing out the top 10 and Chris Vermeulen started in 11th. Nicky Hayden started way down in 14th place, his team having already apologised to the Texas Tornado for not providing him with a decent bike for the weekend as he had struggled with various problems since Friday.
The Biggest Motorcycle Makers
Honda offers both large and small motorcycles. Their bikes are also suited for both street or off road biking. The CR85R, with its 85cc engine, is an excellent starter bike for a teen. Off road models like the CRF50 or XR650L also deliver strong performance and a powerful ride. Meanwhile, the Interceptor is a dream bike for handling daily traffic. If a larger bike is more to your liking, the Goldwing is the man's bike with plenty of size and power.
